Our Services:
  • CARBONITRIDE
    Surface hardening process in which a suitable ferrous material is heated above the transformation temperature in a gaseous atmosphere to cause the simultaneous absorption of carbon and nitrogen by the surface and, by diffusion, create a concentration gradient. The process is completed by cooling at a rate Produces the desired properties on the workpiece
  • CEMENTADO
    In this process, the carbon diffuses on the surface of the part to a depth controlled by the heating of the part in a carbonous medium. The resulting depth of carburizing, commonly known as layer depth, depends on the carbon potential of the medium used and the time and temperature Of treatment.
  • INDUCTION TEMPERING
    The process by which the pieces are subjected to a temperature of authentication at a predetermined time that subjected to a absorption of heat in a cooling medium to obtain a high resistance and hardness. Subsequently they are subjected to a tempering that imparts plasticity or resistance to steel, and is inevitably accompanied by a loss of hardness and strength.
  • VACUUM FURNACE AND HIGH VACUUM FURNACE
    (High temperature tratments)It is the process of the heat treatment that the parts are placed in a chamber that is subjected to a high vacuum and in turn with electrical resistances (usually made of graphite) heats the entire chamber to the desired temperature for the process.
  • NORMALIZED
    In this treatment, the steel is heated to a temperature above the critical range, after which it is cooled to the calm air to produce a fine perlite structure. The purpose is to promote uniformity of structure and properties after a hot working operation such as forging, extrusion, etc.
  • ANNEALING
    This treatment consists of heating the steel to a temperature above or within the critical range, then cooling it at a predetermined slow speed (usually in a furnace) to produce a coarse perlite structure.
  • RELEVANT OF EFFORTS
    This process reduces internal stresses, caused by machining, cold working, or welding, by heating the steel to a temperature below the critical range and keeping it there enough to match the temperature throughout the part.
  • NITRATED
    In this process, the steel part is heated to a sufficient minimum temperature, in an atmosphere of dissociated ammonia gas and ammonia for an extended period of time depending on the desired layer depth. Resulting in a thin layer with high hardness as a result of nitride formation
  • AUSTEMPERING
    Rapid cooling from a temperature above the transformation range, in a medium having a sufficient heat extraction rate, at a temperature lower than that of perlite formation and above the martensite formation
  • MARTEMPERING
    A method of austenizing ferrous parts in an appropriate medium, subsequently subjected, to a cooling medium, the temperature of which is held constant until the temperature of the part is uniform, to allow the formation of bainite, subsequent cooling to air. After this treatment, the pieces are tempered.
  • PAVONADO
    Process by which the pieces are subjected to an antioxidant protection process, with a dark glossy finish.
